August 9-15, HARTFORD FAIR, The 168th Annual Hartford Fair Touted as “The Biggest Little Fair in the World”, with Midway rides, fair food, livestock and entertainment in the grandstand everyday. We have a booth in support of our candidates noon to 9:00PM daily - Sign up to help with the LC Dem Club booth HERE. We have lots of slots that need to be filled with volunteers! Signs for your favorite candidates will be available!
August 13-15, Reynoldsburg Tomato Festival, will have a booth sponsored by the Reynoldsburg Area Democrats (RAD). Sign up to volunteer HERE
Saturday, August 15th, @ 6:00PM The Muskingum County Democratic club’s annual dinner will be held on, at the IBEW hall at 5805 Frazeysburg Road, Nashport (north of Zanesville), Ohio. Our keynote speaker will be former Ohio governor Ted Strickland. Other speakers will be candidates John Kulewicz, Attorney General, Jerrad Christian, Ohio District 12, and Kris Geis, Ohio Congress District 97. The event will be catered by Bill’s Barbeque. Cost of the dinner is $35 and can be paid for by either cash or check. If paying and mailing by check, please make the check out to: MCDC, 1004 Main Street, Dresden, Ohio 43821. August 19-22, PATASKALA STREET FAIR, the Fair is organized as a fundraiser for, and hosted by the West Licking Firefighters Association. The four-day festival features live entertainment, carnival rides, food vendors, and fair events - Sign up to help with the LC Dem Club booth HERE
Thurs., August 27th, Licking County Democratic Party Fundraiser, with Key Note Speaker Gov. Ted Strickland.
Contributions will be divided between the Licking County Democratic Central Committee and Candidates 50/50.
Candidates: Allison Russo, John Kulewicz, Seth Walsh, Mason Blankenship, Amy Rigsby, Mary “Kathy” McLeish, Robert Essex and Michael DalSanto have confirmed.
Monday, September 7, 2026, The annual Newark Labor Day Parade takes place, stepping off at noon. Schedule and Lineup Details - Forming Time: 10:00 AM. Lineup Location: Parking lot at the corner of Walnut Street and South 3rd Street (participants enter from 4th Street). Start Time: Promptly at 12:00 PM (noon), rain or shine. Due to road construction, the parade will circle around the courthouse this year! As usual, at 12:30 PM, we are welcome to Union Hall at 350 Hudson for a lunch, where all candidates are welcome to speak.
Tuesday, September 8th, Branstool Orchards Fundraiser with Allison Russo, John Kulewicz, and Annette Blackwell! The donations made through the ActBlue link on the flyer will be split equally between the three candidates.

We Marched for ICE OUT FOR GOOD on SATURDAY, JAN. 10TH at the Newark Courthouse Square. We marched peacefully in honor of Renee Good and against the Fascist takeover of our country! Over 150 marched in the cold and rain!

Saturday, Oct. 18th, 1,200 Patriots were on the Courthouse Square in support of the Constitution of the United States of America! We sang, we marched, and we did it all Peacefully! Thank-you to all the volunteers who helped us have a joyful, peaceful, musical, meaningful event!

Fourth of July Parade and after party!
Success! Over 1000 showed up for our NO KINGS national day of action and mass mobilization in response to the authoritarian excesses and corruption of the Trump admin. Next Date: July 17th!
Newark Strawberry Fest.
Our presence at the Strawberry Festival is especially important this year!
Volunteers will chat with fairgoers, promote our candidates and the Democratic platform, check voter registrations, gather petition signatures, eat strawberry shortcake and represent the Democratic Club in Licking County.
