OPPOSE FUNDING FOR WAR AND SAVE AMERICA ACT
Republicans in the House Budget Committee have advanced, by a vote of 20-14, a framework for a third party-line budget reconciliation bill, as Republican leaders rush to get the measure through both chambers before the August recess.
The resolution outlines $95 billion in new spending, including $60 billion for the Armed Services Committee and $13 billion for the Intelligence Committee for Trump’s ongoing, unauthorized war with Iran which has claimed the lives of 16 US service members and thousands of civilians throughout the Middle East. It also sets aside $12 billion in farm assistance to compensate for skyrocketing agricultural costs that are directly tied to the war, and another $10 billion which could be used to advance elements of Trump’s unpopular anti-voter SAVE America Act.
None of the bill’s spending is offset and could add more than $100 billion to the national deficit. Fiscal hawks within the party have pushed for additional spending cuts, largely to social programs to pay for it, but the resolution leaves no room for that.
This budget package funds an unauthorized war and a voter suppression policy without opening the floor to a real debate on either. A floor vote is expected during the week of July 20th. Call your representatives and tell them to oppose Budget Reconciliation 3.0.

Hi, my name is [NAME] and I’m a constituent from [YOUR CITY].
I'm calling to urge [Senator Husted, Senator Moreno, Representative Balderson] to oppose the Budget Reconciliation 3.0 legislation. This partisan spending package funds an illegal war and voter suppression while doing nothing to improve the lives of Americans. Stop collaborating with this corrupt and lawless administration!
Thank you for your time and consideration.

ABOLISH ICE
Since Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and Customs and Border Protection (CBP) were established in 2003, the agencies have terrorized immigrant communities; conducted unconstitutional border checkpoints; torn apart families; denied immigrants their due process rights; and subjected detained immigrants to physical, sexual, and mental abuse.
High-profile killings like Renee Good’s in Minnesota have shone a light on these abuses of power. However, ICE and CBP are now the best-funded and most poorly trained law enforcement agencies in the country after an influx of billions in additional funding through the “One Big Beautiful Bill” and a follow-up reconciliation package granted them over $170 billion through fiscal year 2029 with essentially no guardrails or oversight.
That money is fueling a wave of escalating violence. On July 7, 2026, a federal agent in Texas shot and killed Lorenzo Salgado Araujo, a 52-year-old father of three who had lived in the U.S. for 35 years. DHS has released no evidence to support its account of what happened. On July 13, Joan Sebastian Guerrero, a 26-year-old Colombian man who was legally authorized to work in the U.S., was shot and killed by an ICE agent in Maine. Guerrero, who worked as a food delivery driver to support his wife and young child, was at least the ninth person murdered by immigration enforcement during the Trump administration’s immigration crackdown, and no officer has been charged in any of these deaths.
Congress must demand full, independent investigations into these killings and call for the abolition of ICE. After two decades and hundreds of billions in funding, it is clear that this lawless and violent agency cannot operate without terrorizing the communities it claims to serve.

Hi, my name is [NAME] and I’m a constituent from [YOUR CITY].
I'm calling to urge [Senator Husted, Senator Moreno, Representative Balderson] to repeal funding for ICE and call for the abolition of the agency. Taxpayer dollars should not be used to terrorize communities and carry out state-sanctioned violence committed by reckless federal agents from lawless agencies. Stop collaborating with the corrupt and lawless administration!
Thank you for your time and consideration.
